Engine and transmission are out of the 911 and on a furniture dolly(with some really haphazard lumber placement underneath. Everything went smoothly except for one thing. I’m drinking a cider cause we don’t have beer. It’s 2am and my wife works all day tomorrow so back to solo parenting duty for another day and I really hope my kid sleeps in a little.

Haha, no fins in sight. Lots of coolant on the floor even though I drained all the tubes weeks ago. I wonder if a 996 owner has ever done an air cooled swap because that would be hilarious.

Not enough, daughter was up and kicking by 7. So I joined her for her afternoon nap, which I almost never do.

Thanks, I was feeling really excited. And then I went and looked at it this morning and I was then kind of overwhelmed but still excited.

That’s understandable. It’s a huge undertaking.
